In the last mini-challenge, you were asked to create Powerful Routines to gain control and confidence when faced with your Confidence Killers.
Your Powerful Routines could include:
- Confidence Boosters
- Positive Self-Talk / Reframing Your Thoughts
- Relaxation Techniques or Activation Techniques
Creating Confidence
Now that you have a plan set in place, it’s time to put it into practice. Every time you face your Confidence Killer you need to implement your Powerful Routine! Only with practice will your Powerful Routines will become habit. You want your routines to become a natural response towards your Confidence Killers.
Your assignment:
Practice your Powerful Routines at your team or league practices. Then use the Creating Confidence: Monitoring Worksheet to track and monitor your confidence levels throughout your practices.
It’s one thing to implement a plan, but it’s another thing to reflect on whether the plan is successful.
