Ever notice that shorts don’t fit your left cheek the same as they do the right? That one side rides up your inner thigh more than the other?
Please try to find ways to incorporate skating in the opposite direction wherever you can in practice. Your massive right bum cheek will thank you. Bonus: you might get injured less if your muscle development isn’t all lopsided.
Aim for doing this in warmup, agility drills, endurance drills, and cooldown wherever feasible. We prefer to keep the contact drills running in derby direction.
